So Folks! Of course I know Nock is spelled K N OC K as in Knock Knock...Who's There? with a "K" ! But we live on the Northern Neck of Virginia; we have the RappahanNOCK river, the TappahanNOCK river and the lovely town of KilmarNOCK all close by... NOCK is also a Celtic/Scottish word meaning " a level area at the top of a hill, an ideal spot to build a town".
